Dr. Jacobē Bell is a transformative leader in education, serving as the Network Director for Teaching Matters with expertise in English Language Arts and culturally responsive school improvement. She is the visionary behind the implementation of the Teaching Matters NSI, driving systemic change through equity-focused strategies. In this role, she not only shapes the initiative’s direction but also leads and develops a team of literacy consultants, ensuring impactful and sustainable growth in schools. With over 20 years of experience as a National Board Certified Teacher, Instructional Coach, Network Administrator, and consultant across public and charter sectors, Jacobē specializes in curriculum development, instructional excellence, and leadership coaching. She has a proven track record of mentoring educators, supporting school transformation, and helping administrators build strategic, student-centered systems. Jacobē is a graduate of Stanford University, holds a Master’s in Urban Education from Mercy College, and is currently pursuing a doctorate at Teachers College, Columbia University. Her life’s work is dedicated to advancing equity in education and ensuring that all students receive the high-quality learning experiences they deserve.
