Brad Blue (or “Blue” as he’s known to his students) currently manages the InnoVation Lab at New Century School in St. Paul, Minnesota. Previously, Blue was the Founder and Executive Director of GISE (Guys in Science & Engineering) and GEMS (Girls in Engineering, Mathematics & Science). A recipient of a Tekne Award for Innovation in Teaching (Minnesota Technology Association) and the Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching (PAEMST), Blue received a PhD from King’s College, University of Abdeen, Scotland. Blue is happiest in the midst of creative energy and learning spaces that encourage the exploration of ideas and the making of things.
